On December 19, 2020, it was announced that the second part, "School arc" ( 学校編, Gakkō-hen), would feature Denji going to school. However, the big news today, June 20th, is that the release date for Chainsaw Man Part 2 has now been set for July 13th, 2022! The series was then published on the Shonen Jump digital platform after the cancellation of Weekly Shonen Jump. There hasn't been a loving parent around, he barely survives, the Yukuza treats him like a pet so when he's offered a comfortable lifestyle and the opportunity to come into contact with a woman he's very vocal about it.

And then the fights, the blood and gore in it is so good like his fight with the Zombie devil and Bat devil in particular. The manga officially ‘ended’ its first part in late-2020, but thankfully the release date for Part 2 of the Chainsaw Man manga series has just been confirmed on social media. Serialization of the Public Safety Saga began on December 3, 2018 and concluded on December 14, 2020. Chainsaw Man Part 1 consists of 97 chapters, compiled into eleven volumes of the Jump Comics trade paperbacks. The first volume covers the origins and Denji’s arrival with a group of civil servant demon hunters.

If you've already watched the anime, the first volume here is virtually identical sans a few minor styling choices and seems to cover episodes 1-3 (well, up to 3/4s of the third episode). That said, the first couple volumes don’t do a whole lot to dismiss this impression, and I completely understand those that are turned off by this. While he was a man with a huge debt, he now joins an organization where his abilities will serve them well. Details are packed into every panel, whether in art or dialogue, and you’ll be rewarded the closer you pay attention.

Upon her awakening, she's forcefully pulled into Yoru's quest of vengeance to the Chainsaw Man while having aimed to reclaim the Nuclear Weapons Devil from him. I understand I can change my preference through my account settings or unsubscribe directly from any marketing communications at any time.He seems like a typical dopey teenage boy fixated on the idea of scoring with a beautiful girl, but there’s actually a lot more complexity to him than that. There are good ideas here but they are caught in a flurry of overly fast pacing that causes the story to feel shallow and ultimately without a foundation. This is a mostly spoiler-free (there are some context-less images) review of the entire first part of Chainsaw Man (volumes 1-11). He spent his entire life raised by violent criminals and outcasted from society, meaning he has no education, no manners, and has never even had a single interaction with the opposite sex or a parental figure to give him proper guidance and affection.

The second issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine would then revealed that the series would receive a “second part” that would be a direct continuation of chapter 97. He still wishes to get a girlfriend and often tries to "accidentally" expose his identity as the Chainsaw Man.It's pretty much worse as the GOT last episode with killing potential characters who needed more screen time. Thanks to a Devil dog he saved named Pochita, he's able to survive through odd jobs and killing Devils for the Yakuza.

However, things take a turn for the worse for Denji when he is dismembered by the Yakuza over debts owed by his father. Denji is swimming in debt and kills devils with his devil pet dog Pochita to help bring in some sort of income. I've heard of this manga series a good few times by Joey (The Anime Man) and also, people who like No Guns Life. Thanks to its dark-comedy, brutal violence and excellent characters, the CSM series quickly became a global success, selling more than 12 million copies worldwide by December 2021.
