From classic designs to more modern takes, our golf hats come in a range of styles to suit all tastes. great little HAT, however the tiny micro usb connector, never worked and have had to rely on a short cable i had. After connecting the HUB and Raspberry Pi with a USB adapter, the Raspberry Pi can supply power to the HUB; if high-power devices such as mobile hard drives are connected, an external DC 5V power supply needs to be supplied to the Type-C interface of the HUB.Problem is that one needs to sacrify one USB port on the PI3B+ to connect the hat and the bottom USB plug on the hat is so tight to the 4 ports of the PI3 that is almost unusable. That may not matter too much for a NAS though as the limiting factor is going to be the ethernet or WiFi speed.
I'm going to be getting one of these in the next few days to attach to my recently created OpenMediaVault NAS.
