With a high torque 250W motor and 2 stainless steel blades, the Kitchen Genie 8-in-1 Blender can blend just about anything in a matter of seconds. I should add its so easy to clean and the large number of cups etc mean if you are making a number of items, you can keep the already made items in the container you just blended/chopped them in. The other day I tried the chopping blade with cashews and yoghurt and all I heard was a bunch of horrible grinding noises and then the blade stopped. I have it only 6 weeks and have used it about 25-30 times probably, but always with liquid, nothing hard. Sadly I am constantly checking whether the seal is still present before I drink anything - no blended rubber for me!

Overall I think it's okay, but if you expect more than what I have written above, you might want to invest in a more expensive blender with various attachments, especially if you plan to use it daily - this one would last you a month tops then. However, because products are regularly improved, the product information, ingredients, nutritional guides and dietary or allergy advice may occasionally change. I don't think it would be ideal for a large family but if you're on your own and would like to spoil yourself you could always try the above recipe - go on, treat yourself .
